The Bio Containment Chamber is a rugged design constructed of stainless steel. The Unit shown is designed to house a customers existing one over one unit.
Design considerations are made with facility door heights. Casters are outboard for this reason.
A low profile ramp connects to the base of the Bio Chamber, allowing the one over one unit to roll easily into Chamber.
Tivar Hot plastic blocks are inside the Chamber on the walls to help guide and center the one over one unit in the Chamber.
A wall lock mechanism can be provided if existing cages are equipped.
Full size door opens and has mechanical devices for seal compression.
Room air is drawn into the cage through two HEPA filters on the front door.
Two removable fan modules filter cage air before being exhausted back into the room. Fan modules are equipped with adjustable fan speeds. They will accommodate the optional Battery Backup.
Bio Containment Chamber
All doors and windows are made from tempered glass. A tempered glass window is provided on the top of the Chamber to help provide more light. Windows can be added on the sides if desired.
A bumper / handle on the back of the unit is provided. The caster base has corner bumpers around each caster.
